This release is FREE to CURRENT UIC Plugins Customers.  This release improves our already popular filters with the ability to be placed on transparent backgrounds, our number one request. We hope you like it.

A Few Comments About This Release

• This is a PRE-RELEASE version.  Not all of the menu items work.  We are also creating the documentation for it now.
• This release has been tested on our test systems. If you run into a problem, please let us know by filling in our problem report below.
• Installation Tips:  By default, UIC Plugins 2E will be installed in its own directory (Not the same directory as the previous release).  This release will work side-by-side and will not replace the previous plugin filters. Instead, you will see an additional filter group called "Universe Image Creator 2nd. Edition". For PhotoShop and possibly other programs, you will need to specify its filter directory and place a copy of the program here, too, during the installation process.
• ALL of the filters in this release will work on a transparent background.
• Currently, the filters include: Cluster, Distant Star, Nebula, Planet Map (Planets using texture maps), Stars, and Uranus (1-color gas giants). We plan on adding a few more which are currently in the works before the official release date.

Universe Image Creater (UIC) Plug-ins 2E allows you to create realistic images of deep space right in your favorite image editing program. Any program which supports the Adobe Photoshop 4.0 Filter Plug-in specification will work. 

The current effects of the pre-release version are Cluster, Distant Star, Nebula, Planet Map (Planets using texture maps), Stars, and Uranus (1-color gas giants). All effects are rendered in 3D and can be oriented in any position and on transparent backgrounds. This combined with the power of your image editing program yields fantastic deep space scenes.

UIC Plug-Ins PE is Shareware.  All of the filters can be viewed and you can get an idea how they work. However in the shareware mode, only the cluster effect can be rendered.  The remaining effects can be viewed but are rendered with a "Register at Diard Software" watermark.  They are all enabled when you register your copy.   We encourage you to "test drive" the program yourself.  We think you'll like what you see.
